CDRouter 11.5 is here, featuring the industry’s first fully-automated feature, scalability, and performance testing over WPA3 links, plus a whole lot more. You can read the full release notes to see it all!
As the industry races towards the adoption of WiFi 6, WPA3 will is the standard that all devices use to secure their wireless connections. WPA3 is the next generation of WiFi Protected Access, the security technology used in Wi-Fi connections. WPA3 adds new features to simplify Wi-Fi security, enable more robust authentication, and deliver increased cryptographic strength.
CDRouter now enables performance, scalability, and feature testing over WPA3 connections, so that manufacturers and service providers can test these cutting edge devices at every stage of development, and perform regression testing as their solutions evolve.
Networking devices need to be pushed to the limits and tested in ways that simulate real-world connection scenarios. Our development team has worked diligently on expanding our virtual client test capabilities, and CDRouter 11.5 fully realizes this with the ability to generate throughput traffic on up to 32 virtualized clients, in any combination of Wi-Fi or Ethernet links.
This is a critical feature for performance testing that we’re excited to include in CDRouter!
CDRouter users can now test over 10 Gigabit Ethernet links on the NTA1000v6-10G platform, an optional build of our high-performance NTA1000v6 system that adds a 10 Gigabit Ethernet card.
TLS 1.3 is the latest Transport Layer Security standard for TCP connections, and is very important for securing vital services like those between TR-069 ACS and CPE. CDRouter’s simulated ACS now supports TLS 1.3 conntections from your devices under test.
CDRouter 11.5 contains all of these new features and more. You can read the full release notes to learn more, and we look forward to bringing you the next version of CDRouter!
