The User Services Platform (USP), defined in Broadband Forum TR-369, is a standardized protocol for managing, monitoring, upgrading, and controlling connected devices, built as an evolution to the TR-069 protocol. QA Cafe has been involved with the design of USP since its inception, and has partnered with the Broadband Forum to deliver a robust certification program (BBF.369) to validate your products using CDRouter.
TR-069 (the CPE WAN Management Protcol, or CWMP) is one of the most widely deployed management protocols in the market, facilitating over 1 billion installations worldwide. QA Cafe has been the industry standard for interoperability and certification testing of TR-069 CPE for more than 15 years, with comprehensive test coverage as the official test tool of the BBF.069 certification program.
The prpl Foundation is an open-source, community-driven, collaborative, non-profit foundation that strives to enable the security and interoperability of embedded devices. They spearhead several open-source solutions for broadband CPE and Wi-Fi devices.
The prpl development community uses CDRouter to validate these open-source solutions and ensure robustness and interoperability. Users of prpl's solutions use CDRouter to validate their own implementations and compare results. In addition, CDRouter is the official certification tool for prpl Certification.
